Conductive windows

All our windows are good electrical conductors. They are available in several materials and thicknesses, depending on your wavelength and sample.

Electrically conductiveSome operando cells use Kapton or glass windows, which do not conduct electricity and can alter the electrochemistry. Ours all do.
BerylliumExcellent X-ray transmission, ideal for most operando diffraction setups, including laboratory diffractometers with a copper tube.
AluminiumA cost-effective, robust alternative for shorter wavelengths: molybdenum radiation or synchrotron.
Glassy carbonWell suited to measurements requiring low background scattering, at shorter wavelengths: molybdenum radiation or synchrotron.
