HexaCell Small Beam
Ideal for synchrotron beamlines or laboratory diffractometers using a small beam.
The HexaCell Small Beam brings the ease of use of the HexaCell family to experiments with small, focused beams — on synchrotron beamlines or laboratory diffractometers.
It is currently fitted with a small glassy carbon window. Glassy carbon is a good electrical conductor and gives no sharp diffraction peaks of its own. It is suited to shorter wavelengths, such as molybdenum radiation or a synchrotron beam.
Contact us with your beamline or instrument details and we will help you configure the cell for your experiment.

Why choose it
Why choose the HexaCell Small Beam?
- Made for small beamsDesigned for synchrotron beamlines and lab diffractometers using a small beam.
- Conductive glassy carbon windowA good electrical conductor, unlike the Kapton or glass windows of some cells, which can alter the electrochemistry.
- The HexaCell workflowSame hexagonal design and assembly logic as the rest of the family.
- Expert supportWe help you adapt the configuration to your beamline or instrument.
